The Invention of Paper

The paper was invented by a Chinese named Tsai Lun during the year 105 A.D. To create a paper, Tsai Lun has used the grass, hemp, fishing nets, and rags. This was the first time when paper was created. Before Tsai Lun has invented the paper, people used papyrus for writing. Papyrus is a natural reed which was first used by ancient Romans, Greeks, and Egyptians. It is a material which is just like paper and very  common in ancient civilization. From the papyrus the name paper was driven.

In the initial stages the paper was not that soft as we have seen today. Initially the paper was very rough and bit different from the paper we can see nowadays. Over the years the manufacturing of paper spread all over the world in Asia, Europe, and other parts of the world. As the process of manufacturing the paper and other paper products got popularity, the quality of the paper also improved. Today, paper is one of the most important things in our lives as the process of learning starts from the paper. It is very hard to assume a world without paper. The paper manufacturing gone through many different stages and there are many other people who contributed in the development of the quality of the paper.
